Dear Parents,

We’re excited to share that the new school year has started off with great energy and enthusiasm! This week, we had the pleasure of visiting Cucamonga Elementary School and were truly impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and engaged students.

As we walk through the halls and classrooms, it’s clear that our students are fully immersed in their learning activities. The enthusiasm for learning is palpable, and it’s heartening to see our educational environment thriving so early in the year.

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we’d like to remind everyone of the crucial role consistent attendance plays in student success. We encourage both students and parents to make the extra effort to ensure regular attendance and punctuality. Every day in the classroom is valuable and contributes significantly to each child’s academic growth.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to a fantastic school year ahead and to celebrating many more milestones with you and your children!

Take Care,
Michael Chaix, Ed.D.

School Spotlight

Rancho Cucamonga Middle School
By Principal, Bobby Collins

At RCMS, we are excited for another great school year! With phenomenal staff and terrific students, I can’t wait to see what can be accomplished over the next few months. Of course, while academic success is a high priority, there is no greater priority than keeping our students and staff members safe while they’re at school. To help us achieve this goal, our local Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department joined our staff this past week for some potentially life-saving training. Our staff members were trained in hands-only CPR, how to properly use an AED (automated external defibrillator) if someone is in cardiac arrest, and appropriate use of the product ‘Narcan’. While we hope to never need these skills, it’s reassuring to know that our district has invested in these important tools and that our staff is ready and prepared to save a life on campus.

Also, be sure to join the RCMS administrative team for our first “Coffee With The Principal” event next Friday (9/13) in front of the gym from 7:30-8:30 a.m. This is a great opportunity to enjoy chatting with other community members, meet other RCMS parents, and introduce yourself to our fantastic admin. team. I look forward to seeing you there!
